René Lindsen, President & CEO

 


Rene Lindsen, 51, is a gaming-industry veteran who founded Swiss Gaming Corporation in 2006. Originally from the Netherlands, he began his career at Holland Casino, where he held several positions over 14 years, including International Project Manager. In this role he advised the Swiss Government developing the Gaming Law including the Responsible Gaming Law.
Lindsen subsequently opened three casinos in Switzerland, two as a General Manager and one as a Project Manager. He went to become General Manager of three Hotel/ Casinos in Surinam, South America, where he also served as Vice President of the Association of License Holders. He returned to Europe in 2006.
Due to his experience and knowledge of the international Leisure and Gaming industry, Lindsen is Council Member of the Gerson Lehrman Group, Leisure & lodging, Council Member of the Society of Industry Leaders, registered consultant at the Vista Group and a pending membership at the International Masters of Gaming Law.
Lindsen is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy in Weert and received degrees in Middle Management from the Institute for Social Science in Groningen and in Senior Management from the Institute for Organisation Psychology in Amsterdam. Before beginning his gaming career, Lindsen served 12 year in the Dutch army, during which he served in the United Nations Interim Force in war-torn Lebanon. Lindsen speaks Dutch, English, Italian, French and German. He lives in Ascona, Switzerland.

Renata Martini, Senior Vice President


Renata Martini, 42, is a marketing and communications specialist with international experience in Asia, South America, Eastern- and Western Europe. She began her casino career in Switzerland after the change of the law in 2000.
Before that she studied all aspects of the casino business and after having held several positions in casinos in the Italian part of Switzerland, she specialized on the international marketing and communications aspects.
Martini graduated from the University of Poznan.
Martini speaks Italian, English and Polish.
